Rarity No 5 – Hazelnut from the Black Sea region

The slopes of the Black Sea region allow particularly aromatic hazelnuts with a high content of oils to ripen. By roasting the nuts soon after they are harvested, the nutty, chocolaty aroma is pleasantly accentuated. In the traditional spirit process, we capture these aromas in the distillate. Only the heart of the run then matures in ash wood barrels, rounding off the authentic flavour experience.

The SCHLADERER rarities are offered in an exclusive gift box. Each bottle is filled and finished by hand. The cask number on the bottle indicates which cask was used for the filling. As, depending on the nature of the wooden cask, it can happen that a cask is filled several times with the same distillate, each bottle is also given a bottle number so that the number of fillings from this cask can be traced.
